This summer, MTD landscape architects was commissioned by the municipality of Tilburg to work on a Strategic Concept and Restoration and Design Plan for Wilhelminapark, as an elaboration of the inspiration document CODE GROEN (CODE GREEN).
This honorable design task aims primarily at re-evaluating the park's cultural and ecological values, striving to create a climate-resilient, socially secure, and inviting public space within the context of the Museumkwartier (Museum Quarter) and the city of Tilburg as a whole. The objective is to add a new layer of time and significance to the park, building upon Springer's original park design with its historical layout, planting scheme, and pavilion. Tilburg is set to become richer with another 'gem'!.
