MTD Awards 2015 presented

June 25, 2015

On Friday 19 June the MTD Award 2015 was presented to Thomas Wolfert by Han Thijssen of MTD landschapsarchitecten. At the annual award ceremony which was held at Hogeschool van Hall / Larenstein in Velp, the award was presented to a 2nd year student studying Garden and Landscape design. For this, posters are selected of the final project with the most effective graphic qualities.
The award consists of a travel cheque for € 250.00 to be spent on a study tour, and is presented in combination with the VLUGP award. This year the award was presented to Christina Rumphorst.
This time the final project for the 2nd year concerned the redevelopment of the Kops Plateau in Nijmegen; a very special place with a rich history; a challenging and nice assignment. The adjudicators consisted of Sabine van Ruijven from MTD landschapsarchitecten, Menno Vergunst from the agency VLUGP, Henk Oost and Renee Snels from the Kops Plateau foundation and Frits Bevort from the Marggraff foundation.

The annually presented MTD award was introduced by MTD landschapsarchitecten to stimulate the graphic qualities of students, as well as attention for poster design and presentation within the study.
